Today we headed to the China Construction Bank (yes.. it's really ccb. Try www.ccb.com) to create our local bank account.
Here's how it works:
- Fill up 2 forms
- Get your card
- Queue up and enter your security pin 5 times until everything is done
- Take your iBanking USB dongle and head to change password
- Kaboom! Done :)
We also made our Transport card (交通卡）and adding value requires a minimum of 50RMB each time
OH YES! This is like 5+ am in China
So having experienced the local chinese food that did not suit my taste for the amount of oil and quantity they were serving, we headed for the Halal canteen!
Pretty decent food and seems healthier!
In the evening, we headed out to a Halal outlet located 10-15 minutes away by foot. We were too hungry and the food was great with the owner giving us a free dish and wondering if everyone in Singapore are Muslims judging by our group size. haha! :)
Here's an interesting shop name--------YOUEASY?!
Bread shop at the back street (后街)
This is the place that we frequent almost every day to grab breakfast for the next.
The batch 2 students received their sim card and the iPhone owners are DIY-ing their sim card into nano sim!
Oh well...Cleaning cleaning. Look at the top wall vs the bottom
Lastly, here's how your wallet looks like after 3 days...
